Johanna O. Wright-Vines has been sharing her brand of masterful cello performances since the age of 14. Possessing a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Mathematics from East Carolina University and a Master of Music in Cello Performance from Florida International University. She’s sat under the tutelage of expert instructors such as Fred Katz and Dr. Daniel Levitov, played alongside world-renowned artists like Lynn Harrell, and has performed in a premiere event composed and narrated by famed journalist Charles Kuralt.
Her music has been soothing souls and reinvigorating spirits both stateside and abroad, including performances in such dignified venues as the Kravitz Center and Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, as well as having played in Germany and Austria, and has even included a few visits to China!
When not indulging audiences across the world with her unique artistic styling, Ms. Wright-Vines helps to foster the skills of up-and-coming musical students through private instruction, as well as lending her special charms to newlywed couples through her wedding music planning and performing service.
